During the mind-numbing interview portion of the 2015 Miss Universe Pageant, boxer Manny Pacquiao asked contestant Nia Sanchez what message she would send to global terrorists.
“If I was given 30 seconds to give a message to the global terrorists, I would just say that, you know, as Miss USA I could always spread a message of hope, and love, and peace, and so I would do my very best to spread that message to them and everyone else in the world.”
Since providing her answer, she’s been on the receiving end of ongoing criticism for her apparent lack of insight.
Answer the question yourself – or at least try to… and then imagine the pressure applied by the tens of millions of people watching on, and hanging off your every word. It’s tough solving global issues relating to international terrorism while you’re wearing a bikini.
The person that should probably be criticised for their idiocy is the peanut that asked the question in the first place – Manny Pacquiao . We suspect he’s taken one too many punches to the head during his boxing career and it’s severely impaired his judgement and diminished his mental sobriety. Either that, or he’s just not very clever.
Now, this is how you’re supposed to answer a pageant question.
Not that we care, but Sanchez came in second place .
